Values, Ethics, and Politics: I have done the CITI Certification covering ethical principles associated with data collection, management, analysis, and reporting. This certification has taught me a considerable amount about data collection and appropriate practices to avoid bias and ensure valuable information is obtained.
Interpreting, Reporting, and Using Results: Being able to interpret the results of a study is of the utmost importance. Assessment is not simply about the understanding of an issue or problem that needs to be addressed, one must also be able to use the information obtained to see the implications for the findings and use the data to cause institutional change.
